British Summertime Hyde Park – The Rolling Stones, Bon Jovi and more

Today sees the beginning of British Summertime Hyde Park .

It runs from 5th – 14th July and plays host to a series of rock concerts starting with Bon Jovi on the 5th July.

Six ticketed live music events will take place on the Great Oak stage over back to back weekends.

Bon Jovi – Friday 5 July: Bon Jovi will debut brand new songs from the new album What About Now, due out in Spring 2013, loading even more ammunition into the band’s huge arsenal.

Bon Jovi headline on Friday 5th July with support from Kaiser Chiefs, and Bush. Also confirmed for that day are The Futureheads, Charlie Simpson, The Coronas, Bernhoft, Rival Sons, Little Barrie, Funeral Suits, Leo Gun, All The Young, Josh Flowers & The Wild, and The Virginmarys.

The Rolling Stones – Saturday 6 July: Rock icons The Rolling Stones are returning to London’s Hyde Park this summer for a sensational outdoor concert on Saturday 6 July.

The Rolling Stones headline on Saturday 6th July with support from The Vaccines, The Temper Trap, Gary Clark Jr., King Charles, and Palma Violets. Also confirmed for that day are The Boxer Rebellion, Temples, Story Books, Tribes, Broken Hands, Drenge, Gabriel Bruce, Will Heard, TriggerFinger, Kimberley Anne, Splashh, Loom, Will Joseph Cook, and Whinnie Williams.

A Day at the Park with JLS and The Beach Boys – Sunday 7 July: A Day at the Park, the ultimate show for the entire family to enjoy. World-renowned artists join much loved children’s entertainers for a day of fun, including JLS, The Beach Boys, The Saturdays and Paul Young alongside The Gruffalo, Horrible Histories and Brainiac.

Sir Elton John – Friday 12 July: Sir Elton John will be joined on The Great Oak Stage by seminal British writers Ray Davies and Elvis Costello.

Elton John and his band will headline Friday, 12th July, with support from Ray Davies, Elvis Costello, Nick Lowe, Lucy Rose, Justin Currie, Tift Merritt, To Kill A King, Thea Gilmore, Scott McFarnon, and Olivia Sebastianelli.

The Rolling Stones – Saturday 13 July: After selling out their first concert, The Rolling Stones are playing a second concert in London’s Hyde Park on Saturday 13 July.

The Rolling Stones also headline on Saturday 13th July with support from Jake Bugg, Tom Odell, The 1975, Vintage Trouble, The Horrors, Public Service Broadcasting, The Family Rain, Valerie June, Adam Cohen, Fink, Hudson Taylor, Luke Sital Singh, James Bay, Keziah Jones, Hero Fisher, Propellers, The Riptide Movement, and Wild Smiles.

Lionel Richie and Jennifer Lopez – Sunday 14 July: Lionel Richie and Jennifer Lopez bring our event to a close on 14 July.

Lionel Richie and Jennifer Lopez bring British Summer Time to a close in Hyde Park London on Sunday 14th July, also feat. Stooshe, Eliza Doolittle, Nile Rodgers and Chic, Charlie Brown, Vince Kidd, Smiler, Amplify Dot, Al Jarreau, Beverly Knight, Delilah and Angel.
